Tattoos by Constance

1 – Olivia’s life motto

2 – Levi’s robot poking a dead rockabilly guy with a stick

3 – Levi’s finger ruler

Give a punk a tattoo gun and soon all your friends will have new ink. This is only a small sample of Constance’s work. I thought about getting something, but I waited too long as she’s moving soon.

Good luck with your move. Remember, you’ll also have friends in Columbus and plenty of people willing to be your tattoo guinea pigs.

Click on the picture to watch the video. Probably my favorite from the Stella Shorts which were  made before their hit-or-miss TV show. Can’t believe Youtube allowed the dildo at the end.

Is the NFL fixed?

That finish to the Steelers game was as improbable (penalties on the final drive) as it was familiar (Superbowl XLIII).

I’m not a conspiracy theorist and I don’t believe America’s real past time is rigged (why would they always favor the small-market Steelers?) but some interested points made below.

Not bad singer-songwriter stuff with a folk band backing up on most of the songs. They said this was their only acoustic show, but I can’t imagine them any other way. Their talent did a good job of overshadowing their youth (they seemed really young, but maybe I’m just getting too old). I was pretty into them until I heard some religious overtones.

I know most of you are not sports fans, but how about celebrity gossip? It has to be second to gossiping about your friends for some, right? OK, it’s one of my most despised topics (that’s coming from someone desperate enough once to consider being a paparazzi), but I’m hooked on the Tiger Woods saga.

It’s like one day I’m going to snap out of it and realize I weigh 300 pounds and live in my parent’s basement.

Here’s the best story I’ve read about it.

UPDATE:

Here’s a quote from Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis: ”I say don’t get married, if it’s not out of your system. I’m not married. You know, I would love to be able to say, I’m a perfect guy, yeah, baby, yeah. I’m not. You know, I may have temptations. If I find the temptation worth fulfilling, I’m gonna fulfill my temptation. If that ends up getting me in trouble at times, you know, I’ll deal with it then. But right now I’m not married, and I’m 28 years old, and I’m gonna enjoy my life … If he could keep that a secret and ain’t nobody came out and told [on him], hey, congratulate him. You know, most of the time there’s one or two, and you can’t keep that a secret. So if he can balance 14 and keep it a secret, congrats.”

The Queers @ Bernies, 12.8.2009

I’ll always keep a soft spot in my heart for Bernies, but it’s sad when a show like this is talked about as one of their best of the year. The Queers were alright (just like they are every year when they make their annual appearance at Bernies), but it’s hard for me to be too optimistic about a $12 cover charge and the place only having one-fourth its normal turnout for the band.

I guess there’s always frat rentals.
