photos, film and theatre

Warm weather always means a plethora of bands on tour, but if you’re looking for a break from music, check out Skylab, 57 E. Gay St., Apt. 5, on Friday, May 22 for photos, film and theatre. Starts at 9 p.m. and bring money for touring acts.
Bill Daniel will be screening my favorite movie of all time, “Who is Bozo Texino?” as well as displaying art from his new exhibit, “The Great Depression.” The exhibit is a collection of photographs, found items, video and other works about those existing on the fringes of society.

Also performing will be Dali’s Liquid Ladies, a surrealist offshoot of the famed Bedlam Theatre. Described as a “dark and subversive comedy about three mermaids who hatch a plot to kill Salvador Dali.”
