Immaculate Conception Parish Festival

There’s gambling and drinking at the church festival? it’s probably against my better judgement, but …

Didn’t take too many photos at the Immaculate Conception Parish Festival Saturday night (too busy gambling and drinking) and I regret it. As Jennifae said, “This place is full of freaks and it’s not us for once!”

I guess a parade of freaks should have been expected at a fest named after one of Christianity’s strangest concepts. The son of god is too pure to be born as a result of sinful intercourse? Also, what was Joseph thinking? He chose to be a stepdad without getting any?

That freak quote was the second best of the night. Before she rode the mechanical bull Jennifae had these words of wisdom.

“If I would have known this church festival had a mechanical bull, I wouldn’t have worn underwear with my mini skirt.”

Take that Virgin Mary.
